VetCompass Virtual Vet Clinic app for iPhone and iPad

The VetCompass Virtual Vet Clinic offers users an opportunity to virtually examine and diagnose real-life anonymised caseloads of dogs seen in UK first opinion practice.

The app pulls from clinical data on 22,333 dogs.

Users can start their virtual consultation by considering the presenting signs in order to generate diagnoses. Alternatively, the users can start with the formal diagnoses in order to consider which presenting signs they believe these animals might have had.

Each case is set within a realistic clinical context in order to enhance the user experience.

In order to challenge the clinical decision making of the user, each case is randomly linked to thought provoking clinical questions with the option to consider up to 4 questions per case.

The app includes features such as:

- Themes including dyslexia friendly colour schemes
- Prevalence data on UK occurrence
- Options to view disorders based on real life or equal probabilities
